For the creation of both an undergraduate and graduate program, it is necessary to have a series of requirements that make it possible to demonstrate the need for this project in a specific context. This paper presents an analysis of the study of relevance of a postgraduate educational program carried out at the Technical University of Manabí (UTM). The results obtained from the descriptive statistical analysis, allowed to define the exit profile of the graduate of the master's degree with Research Path in Psychology, Psychotherapy Mention with orientations that belong to both the field of Psychology and Research.
