Abstract

This article corresponds to the review of a topic that provides an overview of the data collected on the virtual work environment in the teaching-learning sessions, taking teacher motivation as a determining factor. The literature available online was examined to elaborate an analysis about virtual classes and their relationship with the pedagogue's predisposition. COVID 19 has caused an unprecedented impact on multidimensional population development in all nations. Governments adopted health emergency measures and social isolation to prevent the spread of the virus. In Ecuador, the MSP and MINEDUC suspended face-to-face educational activities at all levels. An alternative solution was the distance modality, implying the adaptation of approaches oriented to the use of ICTs, raising questions from the teacher's perspective about the preparation and prior knowledge in the use of digital tools and the ways in which it is being used. developing virtual classes. It can be concluded that in Ecuador there are no high-impact research that focuses its study and analysis on teacher motivation, so determining whether there is a direct relationship with the current situation of COVID-19 becomes a difficulty for the results. But if it is important that this type of studies encourage the development of projects that address the role of educator in Ecuador, with greater relevance, from all its professional, social and adaptive context, since we are in a technological era and we have gone through an emergency global health system that has made it necessary to change methodologies and prioritize curricular networks, and which has undoubtedly meant a complex task and a lot of effort by teachers.
