Archiving and interoperability

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, allowing those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

You can archive the post-print (In the final post-peer review version) or editor / PDF version

The technical team of the magazine backs up all articles every two months in the system cloud; and every three months they are again backed up to hard disk.

Article readability and interoperability

The journal's Open Access policy allows the readability of articles and their metadata, promoting interoperability under the OAI-PMH protocol of open data and open source. The files, both of the complete publications, as well as their segmentation by articles, are available openly in HTML and PDF formats, which makes it easy to read them on any device and computing platform.

Address to access the OAI-PMH protocol: https://journalgestar.org/index.php/gestar/oai

The repository is validated and registered by Open Archives and can be verified here.

Yachasun Magazine uses Dublin Core as the interoperability protocol and the metadata is available at: https://journalgestar.org/index.php/gestar/oai?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc
