Access and reuse policies - Creative Commons License

From the beginning, SOARCI: SOCIEDAD ACADÉMICA DE REDES DE REVISTAS CIENTÍFICAS E INVESTIGACIÓN, through the Arbitrated Scientific Journal on Health Research GESTAR, has published a large number of titles under open access licenses that are already available on the Official Site of the magazine, through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform. Over the next few months, this digital heritage will continue to grow with new publications at the International Level.

Most of these titles are in open access under a specially adapted Creative Commons license, which allows any user to download, copy, distribute, translate, reuse, adapt and develop their content at no cost. The only conditions that are required when granting the attribution license called CC-BY-NC-SA are the following:

The GESTAR Arbitrated Scientific Journal in Health Research must be clearly identified as the owner of the copyright of the original publication; and
All derivative works must be published and distributed under the same open access license that is granted in the original publication.

Creative Commons licenses are model contracts that serve to publicly grant the right to use a publication protected by copyright. The fewer restrictions a license implies, the greater the possibilities to use and distribute content.

The open access publications of the GESTAR Arbitrated Scientific Journal in Health Research require additional conditions for the use of its content. These additional conditions depend on the type of license granted, as explained below:

Reconocimiento-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0 Internacional
